Blue was a wonderful dragons and beloved pet. On Wed. 8th of Feb. she started to show
signs of digging to lay her very first clutch! Which we here at CalicoDragons were very
proud of. But by Sat. we knew something was not right. We wanted to get her plenty of
time to lay her eggs as naturally as possible, after 6 days she still didn't produce any eggs
which worried us. So we took a trip to our local vet and went home with a shot of
oxytocin to stimulate her egg laying. Sadly, Blue ruptured an egg internally and started to
go down hill. We rushed her back to the vet, unfortunately she passed away a few hours
later. We were able to save all her eggs and hopefully they develop so that we can have
her wonderful babies to remember and carry on her lineage. We will let everybody know
once we are 100% sure they are going to make it. We will be leaving Blue's page up in
memory of her and her wonderful life.

Update: So far only 4 eggs have survived from Blue's 21 :( We will be keeping a close eye
on them to see if they grow and develop to term.
